SLIDEWAY is a “Special Premium Lubricant” developed for slideway lubrication.

Application:

SLIDEWAY Oils are “Special Premium Lubricants” developed for machine-tool ways and slides where precision or slow speeds make it necessary that “Stick-Slip” of tables and slides are eliminated. High quality base oils combined with additives imparts good extreme pressure characteristics, adhesiveness, foam resistance, rust and corrosion protection, metal wetting and superior lubricity. SLIDEWAY Lube Oils show improved resistance to oxidation which makes them suitable for a variety of uses other than merely “all loss” applications.

SLIDEWAY Oils are outstanding boundary lubricants. They are recommended for the lubrication of spur, bevel, worm and hypoid gears in many machine tools as well as hydraulic systems, headstocks and similar machine tool applications.

SLIDEWAY 68 is generally recommended for ways on small to medium size machine tools, as well as for flood application in large machines.

SLIDEWAY 220 is the normal recommendation on large machines where way pressures are high or extreme precision is required and for vertical and inclined slideways where drain down can be a problem.
