Description

TAPP OIL HD is a low viscosity lubricant, containing solvent and fatty esters to provide ease of machine ability, tool life and surface finish. Fortified with chlorinated additives to provide extreme pressure properties.

Application:

  • TAPP OIL HD is recommended for tapping and as a penetration fluid. Suitable for ferrous as well as non-ferrous metals.
  • TAPP OIL HD is suitable for drilling or tapping of high tensile difficult to work materials. The product should be applied by oil can or as a spray, due to the very low viscosity it should not be used in high temperature applications as fume generation can be expected.
  • TAPP OIL HD should be the product of choice when faced with arduous drilling or tapping work.
