SILICONE PTFE LUBRICANT is formulated in compliance with the U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and USDA H1 rating requirements for lubricants with incidental food contact, regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 and other sections referenced therein.
SILICONE PTFE LUBRICANT is a state of the art fully synthetic PAO (Polyalphaolefin) food grade multipurpose EP grease fortified with PTFE (Polytetrafluorethylene) Teflon and white solid lubricants.
SILICONE PTFE LUBRICANT is used for the lubrication/protection of plain, ball and roller bearings, cams and other heavily loaded slideways, pins and guideways, usually operating in food environments. However SILICONE PTFE LUBRICANT is also suited to automotive use as it is a compound containing specially selected premium silicone oils and thickened with high levels of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). This lubricant combines the temperature, corrosion, and water resistance typical of silicone compounds, with the outstanding lubrication properties of PTFE and white solid lubricants. These lubrication properties are perfectly suited to brake systems in that they lower brake friction and slip-stick. SILICONE PTFE LUBRICANT is compatible with most rubber and plastic compounds.
