Provides excellent corrosion inhibition as confirmed by its performance in the IP 135 Rust-Preventing Characteristics of Steam- Turbine Oil in the Presence of Water’, and the ASTM D130 test for ‘Detection of Copper Corrosion’. Spindle Oil 2 also gives excellent low foaming tendencies.
Spindle Oil 2 meets the performance specification DIN 51524 Part 1 Type HL.

Spindle Oil 2 is a premium performance, low viscosity, anti-wear spindle lubricant specially developed to give high oxidation and thermal stability with good anti-wear characteristics. It has been formulated to give good steel-on-steel and steel-on-bronze anti-wear. It is blended using high quality base oils, corrosion inhibitors and a de-foamant.
Spindle Oil 2 is recommended for high speed spindle bearings. It has excellent oxidation stability to give extended service life and freedom from deposit formation. It is formulated to have good water shedding abilities, so that condensed moisture can be drained from the reservoir.
