Description

Barrier Cream is a blend of lanolins, antiseptics, emollients and water resistant oils. Barrier Cream forms an effective barrier against oils, grease, fats, liquids, powders, dust and is ideal for the use wherever a barrier cream or skin conditioner is required.

Application:

BARRIER CREAM can be used as a pretreatment protective layer prior to commencing work. BARRIER CREAM forms a  protective layer on the skin acting as an invisible glove. When the hands are in contact with greases, oils, fats etc, Barrier Cream prevents the penetration of greases.

BARRIER CREAM is recommended for all kinds of bearings, slideways and joints and other mechanisms requiring a high temperature NLGI 2 grease working under high loads where the Dn rating does not exceed 180 000.

BARRIER CREAM excels as Marine Deck grease. The good adhesive quality of this grease improves its stay-put properties compared to conventional greases, under conditions of severe water wash. It has excellent oxidation and corrosion protection under the pressure of sea water.  It offers excellent water resistance even under the influence of a water jet. Even with 50% water the product still retains its consistency
