The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the additive that has been used in lubricants under §178.3750 for the food industry.
FOODCOMP meets the Laws and Regulations according to USDA H1 (Code of federal regulations) namely FDA Reg. 21 CFR 178.3620-3570. FOODCOMP ISO 100 oil is formulated in compliance with the U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and USDA H1 rating requirements for lubricants with incidental food contact, regulation 21 CFR 178.3570.

FOODCOMP ISO VG 100 oils is a series of high quality food grade lubricating oils for piston compressors.
FOODCOMP ISO VG 100 is a foodgrade lubricant that provides excellent protection and long service life to industrial equipment found in the food processing industry or wherever this level of hygienic protection is needed.
This lubricating oil is based on pharmaceutical white oils, high purity grade, clear, light liquids with a light yellow colour. This product is practically odourless, tasteless and non-toxic.
It has a very good viscosity temperature ratio, excellent low and high temperature proportion, good wear and tear protection, outstanding lubricating capabilities, compatibility with seals, high oxidation stability and good corrosion protection with steel, sheet metal and non-ferrous metals, (Fe, Al, Cu). They are low on evaporation and have very little tendency to form sludge or coke.
